Made by Yoke Vata Aromatherapy Multi-Purpose Oil provides luxurious hydration. This synergistic combination helps to detox and cleanse the body, while also supporting a deeply restorative and replenishing self-care ritual.
Aromatherapy has been used for centuries to help empower and enrich health and wellness by balancing hormones, stress, anxiety, improving memory and managing emotions. The sense of smell is profound as it has the ability to connect to memories, desires and instincts. Aromatherapy integrates the powerful molecules of essential oils to enhance emotions, change pathways and balance the mind. This blend of oils was created to help ground, focus and reduce anxiety.
Vata Dosha Characteristics + Balance:
Vata personifies cold, dry, light, quick, irregular, and changeable characteristics. Ruled by the elements of ether and air, this dosha expresses joy, vitality, and clarity when in balance. When out of balance, vata is prone to anxiety, restlessness and nervousness.
We balance vata by applying warming oils and grounding herbs that encourage vata to find sturdier feet. This oil uses the following key ingredients:
Meadowfoam Seed Oil - This oil closely resembles human sebum and it naturally helps skin to effectively lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into the epidermis. This helps vata’s dry skin hydrate beneath the surface layer. This oil is also deeply nourishing and antioxidant rich.
Bergamot Essential Oil (Aromatherapy) - This essential oil helps to balance vata and uplift the spirit helping with reducing stress and anxiety thereby alleviating symptoms of feeling overwhelmed.
Patchouli Essential Oil (Aromatherapy) - This essential oil is grounding, earthy and peace-inducing to help balance vata in helping reduce anxiety. The scent is a mild sedative and known to stimulate the release of pleasure hormones, namely serotonin, and dopamine, creating the feeling of relaxation
- Aromatherapy blends helps to ground, warm and focus (which balances vata) -These essential oils are balancing for vata and included in the aromatherapy blend as they are sweet, soothing and warming: Orange, Bergamot, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang.
- Uses warming and hydrating oils - Vata has dry skin that needs deeper hydration. Meadowfoam oil is a nourishing oil that gets below the surface layer of the skin to lubricate throughout the day while remaining highly absorbent without sitting on the top layer and appearing oily.
- Uses antioxidant rich oils - This oil blend has antioxidants that help reduce the signs of ageing over time and is highly emollient, smooth and soft which helps to balance cold, rough, dry vata skin types
